This
Spring, we will officially start the Wisconsin Chapter
of the ACC's Fellows' in Training Society. Designed
for cardiovascular fellows, the fellows' Society will
organize educational dinner talks, clinical symposia
and competitions on topics of interest to the Fellows.
Of course, activities will be open to all members
of the Wisconsin Chapter, but this society will be
run by and for the fellows in training throughout
our state. To help kick things into high gear, we
are looking for names of fellows who you think would
be good contact people to help spread information
and to keep a good pulse on what our fellows may be
interested in. Informational meetings will be held
in both Madison and Milwaukee in February of 2003.
Our
goal for 2003 is to arrange at least two educational
dinner meetings. The topics and speakers will be of
national notoriety. As the society matures, social
activities, clinical vignette and poster competitions
will be added to help introduce our fellows to all
that the ACC has to offer, whether they are academicians
or private practitioners.
